TG-7A Motorized Gliders

These unique & rare aircraft are owned by the Tuskegee Airmen National Museum in Detroit, Michigan and their performance showcases the unique aspect of these versatile motorized gliders. While the trainers were never used by actual Tuskegee Airmen, the use of the aircraft by the museum is a special one. The Motorized Gliders are used to help demonstrate the museum and promote the history of Tuskegee Airmen. In addition, they use the gliders to train low-income students to ensure that their pilot dreams become a reality.
