The championship game was won by Georgetown Hoyas 3-2 over the NC State Wolfpack and the game came down to the very last second, which was only fitting for the last game of the tournament between two great teams. These teams finished tied for first in the regular season too, so it only made sense that they would end up facing off in this game.
